As of November 2023, TealDeclutter’s organizing and storage team has successfully trained over 50 professionals exclusively in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada. Remarkably, 80% of the active senior organizers within Toronto’s Chinese community have undergone training by TealDeclutter instructors.
The professional organizing curriculum at TealDeclutter has been meticulously developed by Sylvia W. Chan, a leading figure in the Canadian Chinese organizing and storage industry, along with a team of experienced organizers. The course integrates theory with practical applications and covers a wide range of topics, including but not limited to insights into the organizing and storage industry, physical item organization, virtual item categorization, spatial planning methods, communication skills for handling orders, and the sharing of local experiences. Furthermore, the program collaborates with and invites experts from various cross-disciplinary fields, aiming to provide overseas Chinese with a comprehensive pathway to transform their organizing and storage skills from novice to expert. This initiative not only sets a benchmark in the organizing and storage industry but also contributes to the prosperity of the overseas Chinese organizing and storage market.
Since the inception of TealDeclutter’s curriculum development, the central focus has been on “empowering students with practical and applicable professional skills.” The entire curriculum development team at TealDeclutter consists of highly educated individuals who are proficient in both Chinese and English, and possess hands-on experience in organizing and storage abroad. Beyond addressing the organizing and storage challenges faced by overseas Chinese, the team is also dedicated to assisting students in exploring organizing and storage markets beyond the Chinese community.
